Yakuza: Dead Souls is a spin-off from the main Yakuza series, set in Kamurocho, which has been overrun by zombies. Players control Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Ryuji Goda, and new character Shun Akiyama. The game combines the series’ signature beat-’em-up gameplay with third-person shooting mechanics, as the protagonists fight through hordes of zombies using a variety of weapons and abilities. The game retains the series’ deep storytelling and character interactions, but with a focus on action and survival horror elements.
